has the details. >> reporter: this baby angel was found on the overpass it was last seen on to your second. the mother's boyfriend picked the child up from their grandmother's house. had and they said that he was going to take her to disneyland. it did not raise a red red flag. however, the family notified the sheriff's office and the search started. after several leads he was arrested at a greyhound bus stop. found out what he said were the body was. >> after the detectives were working on with several of assistance of the fbi, and the los angeles police department. we have arrested jesus.. 47 years old. and he

they don't yet know why the 23-year old was murdered. as he walked home from a friends house. >> reporter:it was here. on the corner of hayes and webster in san francisco where police say ernesto acosta lost his life. police say he was gunned down as he was walking to a friends house carrying her belongings. police say acosta shown here was known as che to his friends and family. he had never been arrested, and he was not involved in any criminal activities. right now, they don't know why he was targeted. detectives have scoured the area for surveillance camera footage, hoping it could reveal a valuable lead. but so far, nothing has turned up. now police are asking for the public's help. looking to see if anyone noticed anything unusual the night of february 10 around 2am when che was killed in the western addition. take a look here. friends have put up this sign on a post near the intersection where he died. and here - at the whole

>> developing right now.we're learning more about the gas explosion and massive fire in kansas city we showed you live earlier tonight. at least 14 people are injured and it's still unclear if anyone was killed. it happened in an upscale shopping district in the city. j-j's restaurant was destroyed. the fire burned out of control for over an hour.fire-fighters finally getting the flames under control.and now they're looking for survivors. the cause of this exoplosion is still unclear. the city manager says there was a gas leak, and the explosion may have been caused by an accident involving a utility contractor. however, earlier, a police spokesperson said it looked like a car crashed into a gas main near the restaurant. we'll keep you posted on this developing story out of kansas city, missouri. >> pam: a livermore mother. convicted of having sex with two underage teen boys. is back behind bars tonight. authorities say, christine hubbs violated a condition of her parole. not to possess or have access to pornography. she was arrested in hayward friday night.

hubbs pleaded no contest back in 2011. to having sex with the two teens over a two year period. according to court documents. one of the victims was her daughter's underage boyfriend. >> also tonight, police are still on the lookout for this man. who they say attacked a woman on the u-c santa cruz campus. investigators say, the attack occurred around 12:30 sunday afternoon. on a foot trail about halfway between the upper quarry amphitheater and science hill. the suspect is described as a white man in his 30's-- with a muscular build. he has a full mustache and goatee. and a tattoo on his upper- right bicep. >> jacqueline: the rain and snow has largely come to when and. still, some lingering showers near the coast. and snow showers over the mount diablo range. the painpink is showing a rain/snowfall mixture.

replaced with windows to allow people to see inand watch the beer being made. this part of the project is expected to be complete in 2016.and there's more in the works. the mission rock develop,ent will be neighbors to att park.turning the pier from being mostly a massive parking lotinto a new neighborhood with 1500 apartment units, along with retail and office space. a new parking structure will be built for the cars that now crowd this lot on games days. there are also plans for a lot more green grass to replace the blacktop that exists now. totaling 8 acres of parks and open space.the president and ceo of the san francisco giants which is behind the new development has high hopes for what the area will become. bite the more we think that it is going to be going to with a genuine, authentic businesses. something like a new york city neighborhood. like so ho... >> reporter: the project

they do "not" believe he shot his girlfriend by accident. >> catherine: oscar pistorious was back in court for a bail hearing. at times.crying again. model reeva steenkamp had been spending the night. pistorious claims he fired three shots through the locked bathroom door after hearing noises.thinking it was an intruder. he claims that it was only after he yelled for her to call police that he realized she was not in bed - and it was 'her' in the bathroom. in an affidavit read to the packed courtroom by his attorney he said "i fail to understand how i could be charged with

murder. i had no intention to kill my girlfriend." but the prosecution argues pistorius pulled on his artificial legs - walked more than 20 feet from his bedroom and pumped four bullets into the door.three of them hitting his girlfriend. calling it premeditated. south african newpapers take it further.saying police sources say she had been locked herself in the bathroom after a violent argument. one published report says a bloodied cricket bat had been found.and he had tried to "crush" her skull. other reports suggest steroid abuse played a role. all this was unfolding as reeva steenkamp's family mourned her at a private funeral in her hometown of port elizabeth. pistorious will be back in court on wednesday. to find out if he will be allowed to get out on bail. if convicted, he faces a life sentence. sponsors are beginning to distance themselves from the olympic runner. nike says, it has no plans to use him in future ad campaigns.

been hibeen him >> now for today's market update. stocks end the day on a higher note. here are a look at today's closing numbers on wall street. the dow rose 53 points to close at 14-thousand-35. the nasdaq rose 21 points to close at three-thousand- 213. and the s-and-p 500 rose 11 to one-thousand-530. there is an 85-billion dollar deadline looming over washington. president obama is back at and is working to avoid deep cuts that are due to take effect next month. in washington-- neither side of the aisle is showing any sign of compromise over the deficit reduction. tory dunnan has the latest.
